A - Vibration/Shudder When Brakes Are Applied

A1 - VERIFY CONDITION
- Road test vehicle.
- Use moderate to heavy brake applications to slow the vehicle from approximately 80 km/h to 56 km/h (50 to 35 mph).
- Does the vibration/shudder occur with the brakes applied?
YES - Go to A2.
NO - Check for vibration in tires or driveline.

A2 - ISOLATE VIBRATION/SHUDDER
- Road test vehicle.
- Apply the parking brake control, while holding release button, to slow the vehicle from approximately 80km/h to 56 km/h (50 to 35 mph).
- Does the vibration/shudder occur?
YES - Check the rear brake system for excessive runout. Drum Brake System
NO - Check the front brake system for excessive runout. Disc Brake System
