Flatness/Distortion

1. Use Straight Edge D83L-4201-A and Feeler Gauge D81L-4201-A or equivalents to inspect the cylinder block head gasket surface for flatness.
2. The cylinder block head gasket surface is measured in six straight line directions for flatness.
Distortion, Maximum: 0.076 mm (0.003 inch).

3. If the cylinder block is distorted, resurface the cylinder block to within specification.
