Check Relay Continuity







Check Relay Operation

1. Measure the resistance between relay terminal COM and all other terminals. If any resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace the HEAD relay. Otherwise, continue with test.
2. Use a jumper wire to apply ground to terminal COIL. Measure the voltage at terminal COM. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace the HEAD relay. Otherwise, return to the pinpoint tests.
