Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION






1. Separate the air cleaner outlet tube from the engine air cleaner.
1 Loosen the air cleaner outlet tube clamp screw.
2 Separate the (A) air cleaner outlet tube from the (B) engine air cleaner.






2. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.






3. Open the (A) air cleaner clamp and remove the (B) engine air cleaner.






4. Remove the crankcase pressure relief hose.






5. Remove the three (A) engine air cleaner bolts and remove the (B) LH half of the engine air cleaner.






6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
