Vehicle Lifting: Service and Repair

JACKING POINTS






The front jacking point is located at the transmission support crossmember. Raise the vehicle using 1 1/2 Ton Floor Jack.






The rear jacking point is located at the rear floor cross member. Raise the vehicle using 1 1/2 Ton Floor Jack.

WARNING: The service jack provided with the vehicle is intended to be used only in an emergency for changing a deflated tire. Never use the service jack for any other service.

LIFTING POINTS






The front lifting points are on the sides of the vehicle at the pinch welds. Raise the vehicle using Single Post Frame Engaging Lift.






The rear lifting points are on the sides of the vehicle at the pinch welds. Raise the vehicle using Single Post Frame Engaging Lift.

WARNING: Check necessary clearance between underbody of vehicle and drive-on hoist.

CAUTION: The hoist must only contact all four vehicle contact points. Position the hoist pads so that they are in contact with the pinch welds.

SAFETY STANDS






Position the front safety stands at the pinch welds. Support the vehicle using Stands.







Position the rear safety stands at the pinch welds. Support the vehicle using Stands.
