Special Tools:

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front wheel knuckle. Refer to Axle/Hub Carrier. Service and Repair






2. Remove and discard the inner wheel bearing oil seal.






3. Use Bearing Pulling Attachment to press the wheel hub from the front wheel knuckle.






4. Remove the retainer ring from the front wheel knuckle.






5. Use Bearing Pulling Attachment to press the front wheel bearing from the front wheel knuckle.

INSTALLATION

1. CAUTION: Always install a new inner wheel bearing oil seal on the back (inboard) side of the front wheel knuckle.

NOTE: Apply Threadlock 262E2FZ-19554-B or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G351-A6 to the front wheel bearing outer race.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
