After Disassembly

NOTE: Never spin-dry a front wheel bearing using forced air, since this may damage its friction surfaces. Remove any minor rust with fine sandpaper. Replace defective parts.

Use the follow check points:
- Front wheel bearing-damage or bearing seizure.
- Wheel hub-cracks, or damage to the casting; wear pattern at the inner wheel bearing oil seal contact surface; scoring or rusting of the front wheel bearing bore.
- Front wheel knuckle-cracks, or damage to the casting; scoring or rusting oil the front wheel bearing bore.
- Front disc brake rotor shield - overall damage; loose or improper fit.
