NOTES AND CAUTIONS

O-RING INSTALLATION: Use O-rings made of fuel resistant material. Use of incorrect O-rings may result in fuel leakage. Do not reuse O-rings.

THROTTLE BODY: If scraping is necessary to remove gasket material, be sure not to damage the gasket surfaces of the intake manifold or the throttle body.


CAUTION: The throttle body uses a sealant / coating covering the throttle bore and throttle plate that make the throttle body tolerant to engine intake sludge accumulation. There is a yellow / black attention decal on the throttle body stating that the throttle body should not be cleaned.
