Battery: Description and Operation

The positive battery cable and the negative battery ground cables are integral to the engine wiring harness.

Vehicles are supplied with a maintenance-free 12-volt battery rated at 58 amp-hours. It is used to start the vehicle and supplies extra electrical power at times of high system current demand.
