OTC - Stall Test

1. With Pressure Gauge T57L-77820A connected, turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Shift the gearshift lever to R.
3. Read and record the line pressure at

CAUTION: Steps 4, 5 and 6 must be completed within 5 seconds, followed by cooling the automatic transmission fluid (ATF). The ATF can be cooled by placing the A/T in neutral (N) for one minute while the engine is at idle.

4. Perform a wide open throttle (WOT).
5. Read and record the engine RPM
6. Release the accelerator pedal.
7. Repeat the Operational Test OTC for the following gearshift lever positions: overdrive, D, and L.

CAUTION: Cool the ATF between each gear position being tested.

8. Compare the test results with the Stall Test Evaluation Chart.
9. Stall Test specification should be between 2400-2700 RPM.
10. If the Stall Test result is within specification, GO to Operational Test OTD.
