Installation

1. Apply a thin coating of Premium Long-Life Grease XG-1-C or-K or equivalent to the spline of the input shaft.





2. Secure the transaxle on Hi-Lift Jack 014-00210. Raise the transaxle to the proper height and position the transaxle to the engine.








3. Install the middle engine-to-transaxle bolts.





4. Install the two lower transaxle to engine bolts.





5. Install the clutch slave cylinder.





6. Connect the lower clutch slave cylinder tube.





7. Install the starter motor.





8. Position the transaxle gearshift rod and clevis to the input shift shaft and install the transaxle gearshift bolt and transaxle gearshift rod nut.





9. Install the stabilizer bar and support.





10. Remove the two Transaxle Plugs T88C-7025-RH.
11. Install the front wheel driveshaft and joints.





12. Install the engine support crossmember.
(1) Install the engine support crossmember bolts and nuts.
(2) Install the LH engine mount nuts.
(3) Install the transaxle mount nuts and connect the A/C line.





13. Install the front engine crossmember.





14. Install the LH splash shields.
(1) Install six splash shield bolts and
(2) Install both splash shields as an assembly.





15. Install the tire and wheel assemblies.








16. Install the two upper transaxle to engine bolts.





17. Install the LH engine support insulator nuts.





18. Remove Three-Bar Engine Support D88L-6000-A.





19. Connect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) electrical connector.





20. Install the electrical connector bracket.





21. Connect the electrical connector.





22. Connect the clutch slave cylinder tube to the hydraulic clutch hose and install the retaining clip. Bleed the air from the system.





23. Install the constant control relay module (CCRM).
(1) Install the CCRM and bracket as an assembly.
(2) Install the CCRM bracket bolt and nut.
(3) Connect the CCRM electrical connector.





24. Install the engine air cleaner.





25. Install the air cleaner outlet tube.





26. Install the battery tray.





27. Fill transaxle with transaxle fluid SAE 75W90.
