Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Window alignment
- Window mounting (regulator and bracket)
- Window frame interference

Electrical
- Tripped or damaged circuit breaker:
- 30A (POWER WIND)
- Circuit
- Damaged switches
- Damaged power window auto down module

3. With key ON, operate all the window regulator control switches and listen to the window regulator electric drive for any mechanical problems.
4. If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom; refer to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
