Wiper Motor: Testing and Inspection

Alternator, Regulator, Battery And Starter Tester (ARBST):

Special Tool(s)


1. Key OFF.
2. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
3. Remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.
4. Connect the ARBST 010-00725 green cable to battery negative.







5. Connect the ARBST 010-00725 red cable to the windshield wiper motor terminal 3 (ground).
6. Connect a jumper between windshield wiper motor terminal 4 (for low speed), terminal 5 (for high speed) and battery positive.

7. If the windshield wiper motor does not run or amperes exceed maximum specification, replace the windshield wiper motor.
