Lead In Cable, Radio Antenna

NOTE: Radio antenna lead in cable is a two-piece set. The junction is located near the RH front kick panel.







REMOVAL
1. Remove the following items on the RH side of the vehicle:
- cowl side trim panel
- roof side trim panel
- scuff plate, front and rear door
- center body pillar panel
2. Remove the glove compartment.
3. Remove the radio chassis.
4. Access the radio antenna isolator located in the luggage compartment on the underside of the package tray.
5. Disconnect the radio antenna lead in cable from the radio antenna isolator.

NOTE: The radio antenna lead in cable is routed along side the body main wiring.

6. Remove retaining screw from clamp under instrument panel.

NOTE: Insulate the old cable ends and position the ends aside.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.

NOTE: Route the new radio antenna lead in cable along side the body main wiring and secure with straps.

2. Tighten retaining screw to 2-3 N.m (18-26 Lb-In).
