Oil Pressure Sender: Description and Operation

Oil Pressure Switch
The oil pressure switch:
- is threaded into the cylinder block.
- reacts to the pressure of the engine oil in the lube passage.
- is open with low engine oil pressure and closes with oil pressure greater than 6 psi.
