Charging System: Description and Operation

The charging system is a negative ground system consisting of the following:
- Generator (GEN) with integral rear mount Voltage Regulator (VR)
- Battery
- Charge indicator in instrument cluster
- Associated wiring

This vehicle uses the generator with internal fan and integral rear mounted voltage regulator.
