Security Mode Operation

The electronic door lock control module also controls the panic mode function.

Upon activation of the panic mode by pressing the keyless entry remote transmitter PANIC button, the electronic door lock control module sends a signal to activate the horn, flash the headlamps and the center high mount stoplamp.

The electronic door lock control module cancels the panic alarm if the PANIC button is pressed again or the ignition switch is turned to the RUN or START position.
