Spare Key

1. Insert the programmed key in the ignition and turn to the RUN position.

NOTE: Before starting this procedure, make sure the key(s) to be programmed have the correct mechanical cut.

NOTE: Performing this procedure does not erase existing programmed keys. To ensure the keys that are currently programmed, use the Key Programming - New Key (8 minute procedure). Key Programming - New Key (8 minute procedure) will not take 8 minutes with a valid key.


2. Wait for the THEFT light to prove out (2 seconds).
3. Remove the programmed key.
4. Within 15 seconds, insert the new key in the ignition and turn it to the RUN position.
5. Wait for the THEFT light to prove out (2 seconds).
6. The extra key is now programmed.
