Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the rear view mirrors.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage; review the following chart:

Mechanical
^ Damaged mirror
^ Damaged switch

Electrical
^ Fuse 34 (7.5A)
^ Damaged wiring harness
^ Loose or corroded connections

3. If the concern is not visually evident, determine the symptom and Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
