Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical damage using the following chart:

Visual Inspection Chart
- Leaks
- Metal fatigue
- Pipes, mufflers and catalytic converters
- Joints
- Mountings
- Clearance around components

3. If the concern is not evident, proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
