Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the direction indicator or hazard lamps.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage; review the following chart:

Mechanical
^ Damaged directional indicator

Electrical
^ Failed fuse(s)
^ Damaged wire harness
^ Loose or corroded connectors
^ Damaged direction indicator bulb

3. If the concern is not visually evident, determine the symptom and Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
