Disc Brakes
REMOVAL1. Loosen the wheel nuts.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the wheel.
Park Brake Cable At Caliper:
4. Detach the parking brake cable.
1 Pull back the parking brake lever.
2 Detach the cable from the parking brake lever.
3 Detach the conduit retaining clip.
4 Detach the cable and conduit.
5. Detach the caliper and anchor plate assembly.
^ Secure the caliper assembly to prevent damage to the flexible brake hose.
6. Remove the brake disc.
^ Remove the retainers (if equipped).
7. Remove the hub dust cap.
8. Remove the hub retaining nut.
CAUTION: Use a socket to remove the hub retaining nut.
9. Remove the bearing and hub.
CAUTION: If the wheel bearing inner ring bore clip is displaced a complete new bearing must be installed.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the hub.
2. Install the hub retaining nut.
CAUTION: Use a socket to install the hub retaining nut.
3. Install the hub dust cap.
4. Install the brake disc.
5. Install the caliper and anchor plate assembly.
Park Brake Cable At Caliper:
6. Install the parking brake cable.
1 Install the cable and conduit.
2 Install the conduit retaining clip.
3 Pull back the parking brake lever.
4 Install the cable to the parking brake lever.
11. Install the wheel.
