NEW SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES SHOULD BE FITTED UNLESS A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN FINDS THE ASSEMBLIES SHOW NO DAMAGE AND OPERATE CORRECTLY. NEW SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES SHOULD ALSO BE FITTED WHERE SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES NOT IN USE DURING A COLLISION ARE INSPECTED AND DAMAGE OR IMPROPER OPERATION IS NOTED. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.

The vehicle is fitted with five inertia reel safety belts, two for the front seats and three for the rear seats. Each of the safety belts in the vehicle is secured at three points, including the center rear safety belt, which was previously secured at two points.

To attach the safety belt, the tongue on the safety belt must be inserted into its corresponding safety belt buckle so that it locks. To release the tongue from the safety belt buckle, push the release button on the end of the buckle. This allows the tongue to unlatch from the buckle.
