Battery: Description and Operation

The battery fitted is a 12 volts (DC) high cold cranking amperage type.

The battery cable consists of heavy duty ground and power cables with soldered battery clamps of dissimilar size to avoid reverse connection. A separate starter solenoid wire has an electrical connection at the battery end and a bolted attachment at the starter motor. Both the ground and power cables have bolted attachments to the engine block, starter motor and shorting bar.
