Drum Brakes

REMOVAL
1. Loosen the wheel nuts.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the wheel.





4. Remove the brake drum.
1 Remove the retainers (if equipped).
2 Remove the drum.





5. Remove the hub dust cap.





6. Remove the hub retaining nut.

CAUTION: Use a socket to remove the hub retaining nut.





7. Remove the bearing and hub.

CAUTION: If the wheel bearing inner ring bore clip is displaced a complete new bearing most be installed.

INSTALLATION





1. Install the hub.





2. Install the hub retaining nut.

CAUTION: Use a socket to install the hub retaining nut.





3. Install the hub dust cap.





4. Install the brake drum.
^ Install the retainers (if equipped).





NOTE: Install the ABS sensor (if equipped)





5. Install the wheel.
