Removal and Installation

REMOVAL





1. Remove the transaxle.
2. Remove the clutch.
- Loosen the bolts evenly.
- Remove clutch pressure plate and clutch disc.

CAUTION: If reusing the clutch pressure plate, loosen the bolts evenly a maximum of two turns each, working diagonally.


INSTALLATION





1. Install the clutch.
1 Press the Clutch Plate Aligner in firmly and fit the clutch pressure plate with the centered clutch disc on the locating pins on the flywheel.
2 Tighten the clutch pressure plate evenly, working diagonally.

CAUTION: Insert the bolts finger-tight and tighten them a maximum of two turns at a time to the torque setting.

2. Remove the Clutch Plate Aligner.
3. Install the transaxle.
