Horn: Description and Operation

The horn system consists of:
- horn assembly with one high-pitched horn and one low-pitched horn.
- horn blow switch.
- horn relay.
- necessary circuitry.

The horn blow switch closes the circuit to the horn through a horn relay.

Horn Switch, Steering Wheel Mounted
Horn blow switch is mounted underneath driver side air bag module in the steering wheel.

Horn Mounting Location
The high-pitched horn is mounted to the LH frame rail. The low-pitched horn is mounted to the RH frame rail.
