Security Mode Operation

The Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) module also controls the panic mode functions.
^ Upon activation of the panic mode by pressing the keyless entry remote transmitter panic button, the RAP module sends a signal to activate the horn, head lamps and exterior lamps for approximately two minutes and 45 seconds.
^ The RAP module cancels the panic alarm if the panic button is pressed again or if the ignition switch is turned to the RUN or ACC position.
