Cargo Lamp: Description and Operation

Sliding roof vehicles are equipped with:
^ a dome lamp just to the rear of the sliding roof panel.
^ a three-way switch in the lamp housing that controls lamp operations as follows:
- ON-lamp stays on until switch is moved from this position.
- DOOR-lamp will illuminate when a door is opened and go out when door is closed.
- OFF-lamp will not illuminate when door is opened.
