Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation

The luggage compartment lamp is not controlled by the GEM. It is mounted near the center of the upper back panel.

The luggage compartment lamp circuit contains a switch mounted on the latch that closes the luggage compartment lamp circuit when the luggage compartment door is opened.
