Flex Plate: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove transaxle.
2. Remove the flywheel retaining bolts.

NOTE: Observe position of flywheel on crankshaft flange.

3. Remove flywheel from engine.


INSTALLATION
1. Position the flywheel on the crankshaft flange. Install and tighten the bolts in alternating sequence (across from each other) to 73-87 Nm (54-64 ft. lbs.).
2. Check the flywheel runout.
3. Install transaxle.
