Headlamp: Service and Repair
REMOVALNOTE: Correctly aimed headlamps do not require re-aiming after replacement of the headlamp bulb. Do not remove the bulb from the combination lamp until just before a replacement bulb is to be installed. Removing the bulb for an extended period of time can affect headlamp performance. Contaminants (dust, moisture, smoke) can enter the combination lamp where they can settle on the lens and reflector. Never turn on the headlamps with the bulb removed from the combination lamp.
1. Remove the bumper cover.
2. Disconnect the turn signal lamp socket.
3. Disconnect the cornering lamp socket.
4. Detach the headlamp electrical connector from the headlamp bulb access cover.
5. Disconnect the headlamp electrical connector.
6. Remove the lower combination lamp nuts.
7. Remove the upper combination lamp screws and the combination lamp.
