Front

1. Remove the front disc brake rotor.
2. Position Dial Indicator Bracketry and Dial Indicator against the wheel hub.
3. Push and pull the front wheel hub by hand in the axial direction and measure the wheel bearing play.
4. If the wheel bearing play exceeds 0.05 mm (0.002 inch), check and adjust the front axle wheel hub retainer torque or, if necessary, replace the front wheel bearing.
