Flex Plate: Testing and Inspection

Special Tool:

1. Inspect the flywheel for:
- any (A) cracks.
- worn (B) ring gear teeth.
- chipped or cracked (C) ring gear teeth.





2. Use Radial Runout Gauge to inspect the flywheel ring gear runout.
- Set the gauge on the flywheel ring gear surface and turn the flywheel to measure runout.
