Heated Glass Element: Description and Operation

The heated back window defrosting system consists of a series of grid wires baked on the inside surface of the [1][2]back window glass, the heated back window switch and light and the system wiring.

The heated back window grid is activated by the heated back window switch and light, which directs current through the grid wires on the [1][2]back window glass. The heated grid wires keep the back window glass clear of fog and ice.
