Drive Belt: Service and Repair
Removal1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the night, front wheel.
3. Remove the splash shield.
Vehicles with 2.0L engine
4. Remove the accessory drive belt.
1 Slacken the belt by turning the tensioner in a clockwise direction.
2 Remove the belt.
Vehicles with 2.5L engine
5. Rotate the belt tensioner clockwise.
^ Use a 3/8 inch square drive bar to rotate the belt tensioner.
All Vehicles
6. Remove the belt.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
