Fill Procedure

REFILL





1. NOTE: When filling the reservoir, make sure that the fluid is clean and not agitated prior to use. The fluid should be poured slowly into the reservoir to minimize the possibility of aeration.

Fill the reservoir to the MAX mark.





2. Using the special tool, apply a vacuum of 84 - 101 kPa (25 - 30 in-Hg) for 30 seconds.
3. Observe the vacuum gauge reading.
^ If the vacuum decreases by more than 3 kPa (1 in-Hg) in five minutes, the system should be checked for leaks.
4. Remove the hand vacuum pump.
5. Fill the fluid reservoir to the MAX mark as necessary.
