Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Description and Operation

The instrument panel houses the controls for most of the vehicles electrical systems. The glove compartment is located in the lower right-hand side. The left-hand side frames the steering column tube and houses the instrument cluster.

Console
The floor console is located between the front seats and, depending upon trim level, consists of the ashtray, cigar lighter and armrest.
The overhead console is located above the windshield and depending on trim level, houses the interior Lamp, electric sliding roof opening panel switch and the information and message center.
