The Vehicle Certification Label (VC Label) is affixed on the LH front door jamb. The upper half of the label contains the following information:
- Name of manufacturer
- Month and year of manufacture
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
- Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR)
- Certification statement
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

The remaining information on the VC Label consists of the following vehicle identification codes:
- color
- brake type
- interior trim
- tape stripe or paint stripe
- Radio type

There are also the following codes:
- axle ratio
- transaxle
- spring
- district sales office
- special order codes
