Outside Mirror Glass

REMOVAL
1. Position inboard edge of outside rear view mirror glass inward to give maximum clearance at the outboard edge of outside rear view mirror glass.

NOTE: The outside rear view mirror glass and case is attached using snap tabs. It is not necessary to break the outside rear view mirror glass to remove.

2. With fingertips, pry bottom outboard corner of outside rear view mirror glass out of mirror housing until the snap tabs disengage.
3. Disconnect two heater element wiring connectors.
4. Remove outside rear view mirror glass from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect two heater element electrical connectors.
2. Position outside rear view mirror glass and case over power actuator motor using locator tabs and fingers.
3. Press evenly in the center of the outside rear view mirror glass and case until the snap tabs engage.
4. Apply pressure around the outside rear view mirror glass and case area to ensure snap engagement.
5. Clean outside rear view mirror glass and mirror housing with Ultra-Clear Spray Glass Cleaner E4AZ-19C507-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M14P5-A.
