WARNING: IF THE SECOND SEAT BACK OR OPTIONAL THIRD SEAT BACK IS NOT SECURELY LATCHED, PASSENGERS OR OBJECTS COULD BE THROWN AND INJURY COULD OCCUR IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR COLLISION.

The fold-down seat backs on the second seat, which are split (60/40) and operate independently of each other, operate in the following manner:
^ Pull up on the release handle located on the top outboard corner of the seat back to fold a seat back to the cargo position.
^ To return seat back to the upright (seating) position, raise the seat back to the normal upright position and make sure the seat back is latched in the upright position.
