Seat Track: Description and Operation

The front seat track contains the following features:
^ The front seat cushion extension handle is located at the front of the seat.
^ Pulling the front seat cushion extension handle allows forward or rearward movement of the front seat assembly.

Manual front seat tracks are retained to the front floor pan as follows:
^ Studs with nut and washer assemblies are at both rear positions.
^ A flange head bolt is used on both front positions.
^ Nuts and bolts retaining the front seat tracks are removed from inside the vehicle.

Seat trim replacement requires removal and installation of seat components such as front seat track and front seat back head restraint.
