Front Seat Back Pad Adjuster

REMOVAL
1. Remove the seat and track assembly. Place the seat on a clean surface.
2. Remove seat cushion and disconnect front seat adjusting motor drive tube.
3. Remove the front seat back cover and front seat back from the front seat back frame.
4. Using a screwdriver or similar tool, pry the front seat back pad adjuster retaining hooks outward. Remove the front seat back pad adjuster from the front seat back frame.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the front seat back pad adjuster to front seat back frame, and install the retaining hooks into the front seat back frame.
2. Install the front seat back and front seat back cover.
3. Install the seat cushion and connect the front seat adjusting motor drive tube. Tighten the inboard seat back-to-cushion pivot screw to 19-27 Nm (14-19 lb-ft). Tighten the two outboard retaining screws to 30-43 Nm (23-31 lb-ft).
4. Install the seat and track assembly.
5. Check the seat tracks for proper operation.
6. Check the restraint system for proper operation.
