Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the stoplights to duplicate the condition
2. Inspect to determine if one of the electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Electrical
- Circuitry open/shorted.
- Power distribution box Fuse 1 (40 A).
- Fuse junction panel Fuse:
^ 5 (5 A)
^ 14 (5 A)
^ 28 (15 A)
^ 31 (5 A)
- Damaged multi-function switch.
- Damaged brake pedal position switch.
- Damaged connectors.

3. If the inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and go to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
