Front

The front suspension is a MacPherson strut design. The design consists of:
- front suspension lower arm.
- front wheel knuckle.
- front shock absorber/front coil spring/front shock absorber mounting bracket assembly
- SHO only-electronically-adjustable front shock absorber
- front stabilizer bar.
- stabilizer bar link.

COMPONENT REPLACEMENT
The following components may be replaced either individually or as an assembly:
- Sedan and station wagon-Gas-pressurized front shock absorber and front shock absorber mounting bracket are serviced separately. Front shock absorbers do not need to be replaced in pairs. Replace only the damaged front shock absorber.
- SHO only-The electronic shock absorber actuator is not serviceable. If damaged or inoperative, the front shock absorber must be replaced.
- Front coil springs may be replaced individually.
- Lower ball joint and ball joint seal are not replaceable. If damaged, the front wheel knuckle must be replaced.
- Front wheel knuckle may be replaced individually.
- Front wheel bearing and wheel hub are serviced as an assembly. If the wheel bearing and wheel hub become separated, the wheel hub assembly must be replaced.
- Stamped steel front suspension lower arm is serviced as an assembly.
- Front stabilizer bar may be replaced individually.
- Stabilizer bar insulators may be replaced individually.
- Stabilizer bar brackets may be replaced individually.
- Stabilizer bar links may be replaced individually.
- Stabilizer bar link ball joints and ball joint seals are not replaceable. If damaged, the stabilizer bar link must be replaced.
- Front suspension bearing and seals may be replaced individually.
