Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the mass air flow sensor electrical connector.







2. Disconnect the air cleaner outlet tube from the mass air flow sensor.







3. Disconnect the inlet tube from the air cleaner housing.







4. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose from the air cleaner housing.







5. Remove the air cleaner.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When installing the air cleaner, make sure that the locating pegs fit securely in the grommets located in the retaining bracket.
