Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Tube.







2. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.







3. Disconnect the mass airflow sensor electrical connector.







4. Disconnect the air cleaner inlet tube from the air cleaner housing.






5. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When installing the air cleaner assembly, make sure that the locating pegs fit securely into the grommets located in the retaining bracket.
