Lower Arm RH

Removal





1. CAUTION: Use an Allen key to prevent the piston rod from rotating and causing damage.

Loosen the strut tower nut by five turns.
2. Loosen the wheel nuts.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Remove the wheel.





5. Remove the splash shields.





6. Remove the lower arm to wheel knuckle pinch bolt and nut.





7. CAUTION: When the lower arm is detached from the wheel knuckle protect the ball joint seal using soft cloth to prevent damage.

Detach the lower arm from the wheel knuckle.





8. Remove the lower arm.
1. Remove the nuts and bolts.
2. Remove the lower arm.

Installation





1. CAUTION: Make sure the bolt heads are uppermost.

Install the lower arm.
1. Position the lower arm.
2. Install the bolts and nuts.





2. Install the lower arm to the wheel knuckle.





3. Install the pinch bolt and nut.





4. Install the splash shields.





5. Install the wheel.





6. CAUTION: Use an Allen key to prevent the piston rod from rotating and causing damage.

Tighten the strut tower nut.
7. Check the front wheel alignment.
