Vehicle Certification Label

The upper portion of the Vehicle Certification (VC) label contains the manufacturer name, the month and year of manufacture, the certification statement and the VIN. It also includes Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR). The VC label is located on the left-hand front door jamb.

The first number/letter listed identifies the front spring codes. The second number/letter listed identifies the rear spring codes.

The front spring codes are:
^ Base part number- 5310 (RH/LH)
^ N - Catchword NUL (Police)
^ 2 - Catchword AFD
^ 3 - Catchword BOS
^ 4 - Catchword CKV
^ 5 - Catchword DHL
^ 6 - Catchword FTR
^ 7 - Catchword FPK

The rear spring codes are:
^ Base part number - 5560 (RH/LH)
^ A - Catchword AWH
^ B - Catchword BMF
^ C - Catchword CPG
^ D - Catchword DMV
^ E - Catchword EPS
^ F - Catchword FTP
^ G - Catchword GNX
^ H - Catchword HAP

Rear air suspension codes are:
^ Base part number - 5A891 (RH/LH)
^ X - Catchword HDS
^ Z - Catchword AIR
