Backflushing and Cleaning
1. Remove the fluid cooler tubes.

2. CAUTION: If the automatic transmission fluid is very dirty or it contains metallic particles, then install new tubes and a new automatic transmission fluid cooler.

Flush the fluid cooler and pipes using a suitable torque converter/fluid cooler cleaner. Follow all the manufacturer's instructions for correct use.
3. Install the fluid cooler tubes.
